To my misfortune the first experiment in seeking cheap fender flares failed. The plastic that was used in the first flares became brittle when cold and the flares shattered into pieces when struck cold. For my fortune, I managed to find a new material to try out as a cheap fender flare. The product is called Valley View lawn edging. So far the new flares have worked like a dream.

Epäonnekseni ensimmäinen kokeilu halpojen levikkeiden etsinnässä epäonnistui. Levikkeissä käytetty muovi muuttui kylmässä hyvin hauraaksi ja levikkeet pirstaloituivat iskun saadessaan. Onnekseni satuin kuitenkin löytämään uuden materiaalin, jota kokeilla levikkeenä. Tuote on nimeltään Valley View nurmikon reunus. Toistaiseksi uusi levikemateriaali on toiminut odotetulla tavalla.
